1 Kings 13:21 (BNV) Bengali Old BSI Version

1 ্রভু যিহূদার ঈশ্বরের প্রেরিত এক জনকে বৈথেলে যাবার জন্য এবং বেদীর ওপরে পূজো করবার বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলবার জন্য ডেকে পাঠালেন| যখন সেই ভাববাদী বৈথেলে পৌঁছলেন তখন রাজা যারবিয়াম বেদীর সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে ধূপধূনো দিচ্ছিলেন|তিনি গিয়ে ঐ য়জ্ঞবেদীকে সম্বোধন করে বললেন, “দায়ূদের পরিবারে য়োশিয নামে এক বালক জন্মাবে| যাজকরা এখন য়জ্ঞবেদীতে পূজো দিচ্ছ, কিন্তু য়োশিয একদিন এই সমস্ত যাজকদের য়জ্ঞবেদীর ওপরেই হত্যা করবে| এখন যাজকরা য়ে বেদীতে ধূপধূনো জ্বালাচ্ছে সেই বেদীতেই মানুষের হাড় পুড়িয়ে য়োশিয তা ব্যবহারের অয়োগ্য করে তুলবে|”

3 এসমস্ত ঘটনা য়ে সত্যি সত্যি ঘটতে চলেছে সে বিষয়ে ঈশ্বরের লোক উপস্থিত সবাইকে প্রমাণ দিলেন| তিনি বললেন, “আমি যা বললাম তা য়ে সত্যি সত্যি ঘটবে সে কথা প্রমাণের জন্য প্রভু আমাকে বলেছেন, ‘এই বেদী ভেঙ্গে দু টুকরো হয়ে সমস্ত ছাই মাটিতে ছড়িয়ে পড়বে|”‘
4 রাজা যারবিয়াম ঈশ্বরের লোকের কাছ থেকে বৈথেলের বেদীর কথা শুনে বেদী থেকে হাত সরিয়ে নিয়ে সেই লোককে দেখিয়ে বলল, “ওকে গ্রেপ্তার করো|” কিন্তু একথা বলার সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই তার হাত পক্ষাঘাতগ্রস্ত হয়ে গেল, সে আর হাত নাড়াতে পারল না|
5 একই সঙ্গে বেদীটি টুকরো টুকরো হয়ে ভেঙ্গে সমস্ত ছাই মাটিতে ছড়িয়ে পড়ল| এর থেকেই ঈশ্বরের লোকরা কথার সত্যতা প্রমাণ হল|
6 তখন রাজা যারবিয়াম ঈশ্বরের লোককে বলল, “দয়া করে আপনার প্রভুর ঈশ্বরের কাছে আমার এই হাতটি আবার ঠিক করে দেবার জন্য প্রার্থনা করুন|”লোকটি তখন প্রভুর কাছে সেই প্রার্থনা করায রাজার হাত ঠিক হয়ে গেল|
7 তখন রাজা ঈশ্বর প্রেরিত সেই লোকটিকে বলল, “অনুগ্রহ করে আপনি আমার সঙ্গে বাড়িতে গিয়ে খাওয়া-দাওয়া করবেন চলুন| আমি আপনাকে একটি উপহার দিতে চাই|”
8 কিন্তু সেই লোকটি রাজাকে বলল, “তোমার অর্ধেক রাজত্ব আমাকে দিলেও আমি তোমার সঙ্গে যাবো না বা এখানে কোন পানাহার করব না|
9 প্রভু আমাকে এখানে কিছু খেতে বা পান করতে বারণ করেছেন| প্রভু আমাকে আরো নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন য়ে, য়ে রাস্তা দিয়ে আমি এখানে এসেছি, সেই রাস্তা দিয়ে য়েন না ফিরি|”
10 একথা বলে তিনি বৈথেলে আসার সময় য়ে রাস্তা দিয়ে এসেছিলেন, সেটাতে না গিয়ে অন্য একটা রাস্তা দিয়ে ফিরে গেলেন|
11 বৈথেল শহরে সে সময় একজন বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী বাস করতেন| তাঁর ছেলেরা এসে তাঁকে বৈথেলের এই ঈশ্বর প্রেরিত ব্যক্তির কার্য়কলাপের কথা জানালো|
12 সেই বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী সব শুনে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, “তিনি কোন্ রাস্তা দিয়ে ফিরে গেলেন?” ছেলেরা তখন যিহূদা থেকে আসা সেই ভাববাদী য়ে পথে ফিরে গিয়েছেন পিতাকে দেখালো|
13 বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী তাঁর পুত্রদের তাঁর গাধায লাগাম লাগিয়ে দিতে বললেন এবং সেই গাধায চড়ে বেরিয়ে পড়লেন|
14 বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী ঈশ্বর প্রেরিত লোকটিকে খুঁজতে খুঁজতে অবশেষে দেখলেন একটা মস্ত বড় গাছের তলায় একজন বসে আছেন| তিনি প্রশ্ন করলেন, “আপনি কি ঈশ্বরের লোক যিনি যিহূদা থেকে এসেছেন?”ভাববাদী উত্তর দিলেন, “হ্যাঁ|”
15 তখন বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী বললেন, “দয়া করে আমার সঙ্গে বাড়িতে চলুন, কিছু মুখে দেবেন|”
16 কিন্তু ঈশ্বরের লোকটি এতে রাজি হলেন না| তিনি বললেন, “আমি আপনার সঙ্গে বাড়িতে য়েতে বা এখানে কোনো পানাহার করতে পারব না|
17 কারণ প্রভু আমায় নিষেধ করেছেন এবং বলেছেন, ‘তুমি য়ে রাস্তা দিয়ে যাবে সেই রাস্তা দিয়ে ফিরবে না|”‘
18 তখন বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী বললেন, “আমিও আপনারই মতো এক জন ভাববাদী|” উপরন্তু তিনি বানিয়ে বললেন, “প্রভুর কাছ থেকে দূত এসে আমায় আপনাকে বাড়িতে নিয়ে গিয়ে আপনার পানাহারের ব্যবস্থা করতে বলেছেন|”
19 তখন ঈশ্বর প্রেরিত সেই লোকটি বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদীর বাড়িতে গিয়ে তাঁর সঙ্গে পানাহার করলেন|
20 যখন তাঁরা টেবিলে বসে খাওয়া-দাওয়া করছেন তখন প্রভু বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদীর সামনে আবির্ভূত হলেন|
21 বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী যিহূদা থেকে আসা ঈশ্বরের লোকটিকে বললেন, “প্রভু বললেন আপনি প্রভুর নির্দেশ অমান্য করেছেন|”
22 আপনাকে প্রভু এখানে কিছু খেতে বা পান করতে বারণ করেছিলেন, কিন্তু আপনি সেই নির্দেশ লঙঘন করে এখানে পানাহার করলেন| শাস্তিস্বরূপ আপনার মৃত্যুর পর আপনার দেহ আপনার বংশের সমাধিস্থলে সমাধিস্থ হতে পারবে না|”
23 ইতিমধ্যে ঈশ্বরের লোকটির পানাহার শেষ হলে বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী তাঁর জন্য গাধায লাগাম ও জিন চড়িয়ে দিলেন এবং সেই ব্যক্তি রওনা হল|
24 পথে এক সিংহের আক্রমণে ঈশ্বর প্রেরিত ব্যক্তির মৃত্যু হল|
25 কিছু পথচারী যাবার সময়ে পথে পড়ে থাকা সেই মৃতদেহটি আর তার পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা গাধা ও সিংহটাকে দেখতে পেল| তারা ফিরে এসে শহরে বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদীকে এই খবর দিল|
26 যদিও বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদীর পাল্লায় পড়েই ঈশ্বরের পাঠানো এই ব্যক্তি ফিরে এসে খাওয়া-দাওয়া করেছিলেন, বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী তারা যা বলল সব শুনলেন এবং বললেন, “প্রভুর আদেশ অমান্য করায প্রভু সিংহ পাঠিয়ে তাঁর পাঠানো ব্যক্তির জীবন নিলেন| প্রভু বলেছিলেন য়ে তিনি এরকম করবেন|”
27 এই বলে তিনি তাঁর পুত্রদের গাধায জিন চাপাতে বলে
28 গাধা নিয়ে বেরিয়ে সেই মৃতদেহের কাছ পৌঁছে দেখতে পেলেন য়ে গাধা আর সিংহ দুটোই সেখানে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে| সিংহটা সেই দেহে মুখ দেয় নি, এমনকি গাধাটাকেও কিছু করে নি|
29 বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী শোকপ্রকাশ করবার জন্য ও কবর দেবার জন্য গাধায চাপিয়ে মৃতদেহটাকে শহরে নিয়ে চললেন|
30 তিনি সেই ব্যক্তিকে তাঁর নিজের পরিবারের সমাধিস্থলে কবর দিলেন| তারপর তিনি কাঁদতে কাঁদতে বললেন, “ভাই আমার, তোমার জন্য আমি দু:খিত|” তিনি কবর দেওয়ার পর তাঁর পুত্রদের নির্দেশ দিলেন, “আমি মরলে আমাকেও এই কবরে ওঁর পাশে কবর দিস| আমার হাড় ক’খানাকে ওঁর পাশেই রাখিস|

32 প্রভু ওঁর মুখ দিয়ে য়ে কথা বলিযেছেন তা একদিন সত্যিই ঘটবে| বৈথেলের বেদী ও শমরিয়ায অন্যান্য উচ্চস্থানে পূজা করার বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলার জন্য প্রভু ওঁকে ব্যবহার করেছেন|”
33 রাজা যারবিয়ামের কোনোই পরিবর্তন হল না| সে আগের মতোই পাপাচরণ করে য়েতে লাগল| বিভিন্ন পরিবারগোষ্ঠী থেকে যাজক বেছে নিয়ে তাদের দিয়ে উচ্চস্থানে সেবা করাতে লাগল| য়ে কেউ ইচ্ছা হলেই যাজক হয়ে য়েতে পারত|
34 এই পাপের ফলেই তার সাম্রাজ্যের পতন হয় এবং তা ধ্বংসস্তূপে পরিণত হয়|
1 And , behold H2009 IJEC , there came H935 VQPMS a man H376 NMS of God H430 EDP out of Judah H3063 by the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 EDS unto H413 PREP Bethel H1008 LFS : and Jeroboam H3379 stood H5975 by H5921 PREP the altar H4196 D-NMS to burn incense H6999 .
2 And he cried H7121 W-VQY3MS against H5921 PREP the altar H4196 D-NMS in the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 EDS , and said H559 W-VQY3MS , O altar H4196 NMS , altar H4196 NMS , thus H3541 saith H559 W-VQY3MS the LORD H3068 EDS ; Behold H2009 IJEC , a child H1121 shall be born H3205 unto the house H1004 of David H1732 MMS , Josiah H2977 by name H8034 CMS-3MS ; and upon H5921 PREP thee shall he offer H2076 the priests H3548 of the high places H1116 that burn incense H6999 upon H5921 PREP thee , and men H120 NMS \'s bones H6106 shall be burnt H8313 upon H5921 PREP thee .
3 And he gave H5414 W-VQQ3MS a sign H4159 the same H1931 D-PPRO-3MS day H3117 B-AMS , saying H559 L-VQFC , This H2088 DPRO is the sign H4159 which H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS hath spoken H1696 VPQ3MS ; Behold H2009 IJEC , the altar H4196 D-NMS shall be rent H7167 , and the ashes H1880 that H834 RPRO are upon H5921 it shall be poured out H8210 .
4 And it came to pass H1961 W-VQY3MS , when king H4428 D-NMS Jeroboam H3379 heard H8085 the saying H1697 CMS of the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-EDP , which H834 RPRO had cried H7121 VQQ3MS against H5921 PREP the altar H4196 D-NMS in Bethel H1008 , that he put forth W-VQY3MS his hand H3027 CFS-3MS from PREP the altar H4196 D-NMS , saying H559 L-VQFC , Lay hold H8610 on him . And his hand H3027 CFS-3MS , which H834 RPRO he put forth H7971 W-VQY3MS against H5921 PREP him , dried up H3001 , so that he could H3201 not H3808 W-NPAR pull it in again H7725 to H413 him .
5 The altar H4196 also was rent H7167 , and the ashes H1880 poured out H8210 from H4480 PREP the altar H4196 D-NMS , according to the sign H4159 which H834 RPRO the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-EDP had given H5414 VQQ3MS by the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 NAME-4MS .
6 And the king H4428 D-NMS answered H6030 W-VQY3MS and said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-NMP , Entreat H2470 now H4994 IJEC the face H6440 CMP of the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 CMP-2MS , and pray H6419 for H1157 me , that my hand H3027 CFS-1MS may be restored me again H7725 W-VQI3MS . And the man H376 NMS of God H430 CMP-2MS besought H2470 the LORD H6440 CMP , and the king H4428 D-NMS \'s hand H3027 CFS was restored him again H7725 W-VQY3FS , and became H1961 W-VQY3FS as it was before H7223 .
7 And the king H4428 D-NMS said H1696 W-VPY3MS unto H413 PREP the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-EDP , Come H935 home H1004 with H854 PREP-1MS me , and refresh H5582 thyself , and I will give H5414 thee a reward H4991 .
8 And the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-NAME-4MP said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP the king H4428 D-NMS , If H518 PART thou wilt give H5414 VQY2MS me half H2677 thine house H1004 , I will not H3808 NADV go in H935 with H5973 PREP-2FS thee , neither H3808 ADV will I eat H398 bread H3899 NMS nor H3808 W-NADV drink H8354 water H4325 in this H2088 D-PMS place H4725 :
9 For H3588 CONJ so H3651 ADV was it charged H6680 VPQ3MS me by the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 EDS , saying H559 L-VQFC , Eat H398 VQY2MS no H3808 NADV bread H3899 NMS , nor H3808 W-NADV drink H8354 water H4325 , nor H3808 W-NADV turn again H7725 VQY3FS by the same way H1870 that H834 RPRO thou camest H1980 .
10 So he went H1980 W-VQY3MS another H312 AMS way H1870 B-NMS , and returned H7725 VQQ3MS not H3808 W-NPAR by the way H1870 that H834 RPRO he came H935 VQPMS to H413 PREP Bethel H1008 LFS .
11 Now there dwelt H3427 VQPMS an old H259 MMS prophet H5030 in Bethel H1008 ; and his sons H1121 came H935 W-VQY3MS and told H5608 him all H3605 NMS the works H4639 that H834 RPRO the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-EDP had done H6213 VQQ3MS that day H3117 D-AMS in Bethel H1008 LFS : the words H1697 AMP which H834 RPRO he had spoken H1696 VPQ3MS unto H413 PREP the king H4428 D-NMS , them they told H5608 also to their father H1 .
12 And their father H1 CMS-3MP said H1696 W-VPY3MS unto H413 PREP-3MS them , What H335 way H1870 D-NMS went H1980 he ? For his sons H1121 CMP-3MS had seen H7200 W-VQY3MP what H834 RPRO way H1870 D-NMS the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-EDP went H1980 VQQ3MS , which H834 RPRO came H935 VQPMS from Judah H3063 .
13 And he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP his sons H1121 CMP-3MS , Saddle H2280 me the ass H2543 . So they saddled H2280 him the ass H2543 : and he rode H7392 thereon H5921 ,
14 And went H1980 W-VQY3MS after H310 PREP the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-EDP , and found H4672 him sitting H3427 VQPMS under H8478 NMS an oak H424 : and he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-3MS him , Art thou H859 the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-EDP that H834 RPRO camest H935 from H4480 Judah H3063 ? And he said H559 W-VQY3MS , I H589 PPRO-1MS am .
15 Then he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-3MS him , Come H1980 VQI2MS home H1004 with H854 PREP-1MS me , and eat H398 bread H3899 NMS .
16 And he said H559 W-VQY3MS , I may H3201 not H3808 NADV return H7725 with H854 PART-2MS thee , nor go in H935 with H854 PART-2MS thee : neither H3808 ADV will I eat H398 bread H3899 NMS nor H3808 ADV drink H8354 water H4325 OMD with H854 PART-2MS thee in this H2088 D-PMS place H4725 :
17 For H3588 CONJ it was said H1697 NMS to H413 PREP-1MS me by the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 EDS , Thou shalt eat H398 VQY2MS no H3808 ADV bread H3899 NMS nor H3808 ADV drink H8354 water H4325 NMD there H8033 ADV , nor H3808 NADV turn again H7725 VQY3FS to go H1980 L-VQFC by the way H1870 that H834 RPRO thou camest H1980 .
18 He said H559 W-VQY3MS unto him , I H589 PPRO-1MS am a prophet H5030 also H1571 CONJ as thou art ; and an angel H4397 W-NMS spoke H1696 VPQ3MS unto H413 PREP me by the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 EDS , saying H559 W-VQY3MS , Bring him back H7725 with H854 PART-2MS thee into H413 PREP thine house H1004 , that he may eat H398 bread H3899 NMS and drink H8354 water H4325 NMD . But he lied H3584 unto him .
19 So he went back H7725 with H854 PREP-3MS him , and did eat H398 bread H3899 NMS in his house H1004 B-CMS-3MS , and drank H8354 W-VQY3MS water H4325 NMP .
20 And it came to pass H1961 W-VPY3MS , as they H1992 PPRO-3MP sat H3427 at H413 PREP the table H7979 , that the word H1697 CMS of the LORD H3068 EDS came H1961 W-VPY3MS unto H413 PREP the prophet H5030 that H834 RPRO brought him back H7725 :
21 And he cried H7121 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-EDP that H834 RPRO came H935 VQPMS from H4480 Judah H3063 , saying H559 L-VQFC , Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS , Forasmuch H3282 ADV as thou hast disobeyed H4784 the mouth H6310 of the LORD H3068 EDS , and hast not H3808 W-NPAR kept H8104 the commandment H4687 which H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 commanded H6680 thee ,
22 But camest back H7725 W-VQY3FS , and hast eaten H398 W-VQY3FS bread H3899 NMS and drunk H8354 water H4325 OMD in the place H4725 , of the which H834 RPRO the LORD did say H1696 VPQ3MS to H413 PREP thee , Eat H398 VQY2MS no H408 NPAR bread H3899 NMS , and drink H8354 no H408 ADV water H4325 OMD ; thy carcass H5038 shall not H3808 ADV come H935 VQY3FS unto H413 PREP the sepulcher H6913 of thy fathers H1 .
23 And it came to pass H1961 W-VQY3MS , after H310 PREP he had eaten H398 bread H3899 NMS , and after H310 he had drunk H8354 , that he saddled H2280 for him the ass H2543 , to wit , for the prophet H5030 whom H834 RPRO he had brought back H7725 .
24 And when he was gone H1980 W-VQY3MS , a lion H738 NMS met H4672 him by the way H1870 , and slew H4191 him : and his carcass H5038 was H1961 W-VQY3FS cast H7993 in the way H1870 , and the ass H2543 stood H5975 by H681 it , the lion H738 also stood H5975 by H681 the carcass H5038 .
25 And , behold H2009 IJEC , men H376 NMP passed by H5674 , and saw H7200 W-VQY3MP the carcass H5038 cast H7993 in the way H1870 , and the lion H738 standing H5975 by H681 the carcass H5038 : and they came H935 W-VQY3MP and told H1696 W-VPY3MP it in the city H5892 BD-NFS where H834 RPRO the old H2205 prophet H5030 dwelt H3427 VQPMS .
26 And when the prophet H5030 that H834 RPRO brought him back H7725 from H4480 PREP the way H1870 D-NMS heard H8085 thereof , he said H559 W-VQY3MS , It H1931 PPRO-3MS is the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-EDP , who H834 RPRO was disobedient H4784 unto the word H6310 of the LORD H3068 EDS : therefore the LORD H3068 EDS hath delivered H5414 him unto the lion H738 , which hath torn H7665 him , and slain H4191 him , according to the word H1697 K-NMS of the LORD H3068 EDS , which H834 RPRO he spoke H1696 VPQ3MS unto him .
27 And he spoke H1696 W-VPY3MS to H413 PREP his sons H1121 CMP-3MS , saying H559 L-VQFC , Saddle H2280 me the ass H2543 . And they saddled H2280 him .
28 And he went H1980 W-VQY3MS and found H4672 W-VQY3MS his carcass H5038 cast H7993 in the way H1870 , and the ass H2543 and the lion H738 standing H5975 VQPMP by H681 the carcass H5038 : the lion H738 had not H3808 ADV eaten H398 VQQ3MS the carcass H5038 , nor H3808 W-NADV torn H7665 the ass H2543 .
29 And the prophet H5030 took up H5375 W-VQY3MS the carcass H5038 of the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-EDP , and laid H5117 it upon H413 PREP the ass H2543 , and brought it back H7725 : and the old H2205 prophet H5030 came H935 W-VQY3MS to H413 PREP the city H5892 GFS , to mourn H5594 and to bury H6912 him .
30 And he laid H5117 his carcass H5038 in his own grave H6913 ; and they mourned H5594 over H5921 PREP-3MS him , saying , Alas H1945 , my brother H251 !
31 And it came to pass H1961 W-VQY3MS , after H310 PREP he had buried H6912 him , that he spoke H559 W-VQY3MS to H413 PREP his sons H1121 CMP-3MS , saying H559 W-VQY3MS , When I am dead H4191 , then bury H6912 me in the sepulcher H6913 wherein H834 RPRO the man H376 NMS of God H430 D-EDP is buried H6912 ; lay H5117 my bones H6106 beside H681 his bones H6106 :
32 For H3588 CONJ the saying H1697 D-NMS which H834 RPRO he cried H7121 VQQ3MS by the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 EDS against H5921 PREP the altar H4196 D-NMS in Bethel H1008 , and against H5921 PREP all H3605 NMS the houses H1004 of the high places H1116 which H834 RPRO are in the cities H5892 B-CFP of Samaria H8111 , shall surely come to pass H1961 .
33 After H310 ADV this H2088 D-PMS thing H1697 D-NMS Jeroboam H3379 returned H7725 VQQ3MS not H3808 ADV from his evil way H1870 M-CMS-3MS , but made H6213 W-VQY3MS again H7725 of the lowest H7098 of the people H5971 priests H3548 of the high places H1116 : whosoever would H2655 , he consecrated H4390 him , and he became H1961 W-VQI3MS one of the priests H3548 of the high places H1116 .
34 And this H2088 D-PMS thing H1697 became H1961 W-VQY3MS sin H2403 unto the house H1004 CMS of Jeroboam H3379 , even to cut it off H3582 , and to destroy H8045 it from off H5921 M-PREP the face H6440 CMP of the earth H127 D-NFS .
