Ezekiel 48:27 (ERVEN) Easy to Read - English

1 "The northern border goes east from the Mediterranean Sea, to Hethlon to Hamath Pass, and then all the way to Hazar Enan. This is on the border between Damascus and Hamath. The land for the tribes in this group will go from the east of these borders to the west. From north to south, the tribes in this area are Dan, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Ephraim, Reuben, and Judah.

8 "The next area of land will be for a special use. This land is south of Judah's land. This area is 25,000 cubits long from north to south. From east to west, it will be as wide as the land that belongs to the other tribes. The Temple will be in the middle of this section of land.
9 You will dedicate this land to the Lord. It will be 25,000 cubits long and 20,000 cubits wide.
10 This special area of land will be divided among the priest and Levites. "The priests will get one part of this area. The land will be 25,000 cubits long on the north side, 10,000 cubits wide on the west side, 10,000 cubits wide on the east side, and 25,000 cubits long on the south side. The Lord's Temple will be in the middle of this area of land.
11 This land is for Zadok's descendants. These men were chosen to be my holy priests, because they continued to serve me when the other people of Israel left me. Zadok's family did not leave me like the other people from the tribe of Levi.
12 This special share from this holy part of the land will be especially for these priests. It will be next to the land of the Levites.
13 "Next to the land for the priests, the Levites will have a share of the land. It will be 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits wide. They will get the full length and width of this land—25,000 cubits long and 20,000 cubits wide.
14 The Levites will not sell or trade any of this land. They will not be able to sell any of it. They must not cut up this part of the country, because this land belongs to the Lord—it is very special. It is the best part of the land.
15 "There will be an area of land 5000 cubits wide by 25,000 cubits long that is left over from the land given to the priests and Levites. This land can be for the city, for grasslands for animals, and for building houses. The common people may use this land. The city will be in the middle of it.
16 These are the city's measurements: The north side will be 4500 cubits. The south side will be 4500 cubits. The east side will be 4500 cubits. The west side will be 4500 cubits.
17 The city will have grasslands. These grasslands will be 250 cubits on the north and 250 cubits on the south. They will be 250 cubits on the east and 250 cubits on the west.
18 What is left of the length along the side of the holy area will be 10,000 cubits on the east and 10,000 cubits on the west. This land will be along the side of the holy area. This land will grow food for the city workers.
19 The city workers from all the tribes of Israel will farm this land.
20 "This special area of land will be square. It will be 25,000 cubits long by 25,000 cubits wide. You must set apart this area for its special purposes. One part is for the priests, one part is for the Levites, and one part is for the city.
21 "Part of that special land will be for the ruler of the country. That special area of land is square. It is 25,000 cubits long by 25,000 cubits wide. Part of this special land is for the priests, part of it is for the Levites, and part of it is for the Temple. The Temple is in the middle of this area of land. The rest of the land belongs to the ruler of the country. The ruler will get the area between the land of Benjamin and the land of Judah.

23 "South of this special area will be the land for the tribes that lived east of the Jordan River. Each tribe will get a section of land that goes from the eastern border to the Mediterranean Sea. From north to south, these tribes are Benjamin, Simeon, Issachar, Zebulun, and Gad.

28 "The southern border of Gad's land will go from Tamar to the Oasis of Meribahkadesh, then along the Brook of Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea.
29 This is the land that you will divide among the tribes of Israel. This is what each group will get." This is what the Lord God said!
30 "These are the gates of the city. The gates will be named for the tribes of Israel. "The north side of the city will be 4500 cubits long.
31 There will be three gates: Reuben's Gate, Judah's Gate, and Levi's Gate.
32 "The east side of the city will be 4500 cubits long. There will be three gates: Joseph's Gate, Benjamin's Gate, and Dan's Gate.
33 "The south side of the city will be 4500 cubits long. There will be three gates: Simeon's Gate, Issachar's Gate, and Zebulun's Gate.
34 "The west side of the city will be 4500 cubits long. There will be three gates: Gad's Gate, Asher's Gate, and Naphtali's Gate.
35 "The distance around the city will be 18,000 cubits. From now on, the name of the city will be The Lord Is There. "

9 The oblation H8641 that H834 RPRO ye shall offer H7311 unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS shall be of five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS in length H753 CMS , and of ten H6235 thousand H505 in breadth H7341 W-CMS .
10 And for them H428 , even for the priests H3548 , shall be H1961 W-VQQ3MS this holy H6944 oblation H8641 ; toward the north H6828 five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS in length , and toward the west H3220 ten H6235 thousand H505 MMP in breadth H7341 , and toward the east H6921 ten H6235 thousand H505 MMP in breadth H7341 , and toward the south H5045 five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 MMS in length H753 CMS : and the sanctuary H4720 of the LORD H3068 EDS shall be H1961 W-VQQ3MS in the midst H8432 thereof .
11 It shall be for the priests H3548 that are sanctified H6942 of the sons H1121 of Zadok H6659 ; which H834 RPRO have kept H8104 my charge H4931 , which H834 RPRO went not astray H8582 when the children H1121 of Israel H3478 went astray H8582 , as H834 RPRO the Levites H3881 went astray H8582 .
12 And this oblation H8642 of the land H776 D-GFS that is offered H8641 shall be H1961 W-VQQ3FS unto them a thing most holy H6944 by H413 PREP the border H1366 CMS of the Levites H3881 .
13 And over against H5980 the border H1366 CMS of the priests H3548 the Levites H3881 shall have five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS in length H753 CMS , and ten H6235 thousand H505 MMP in breadth H7341 W-CMS : all H3605 NMS the length H753 CMS shall be five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS , and the breadth H7341 W-CMS ten H6235 thousand H505 .
14 And they shall not H3808 W-NPAR sell H4376 of H4480 M-PREP-3MS it , neither H3808 W-NPAR exchange H4171 , nor H3808 W-NPAR alienate H5674 the firstfruits H7225 CFS of the land H776 D-GFS : for H3588 CONJ it is holy H6944 unto the LORD H3068 .
15 And the five H2568 thousand H505 MMP , that are left H3498 in the breadth H7341 over against H5921 PREP the five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS , shall be a profane H2455 place for the city H5892 L-NMS , for dwelling H4186 , and for suburbs H4054 : and the city H5892 D-GFS shall be H1961 W-VQQ3FS in the midst H8432 thereof .
16 And these H428 W-PMP shall be the measures H4060 thereof ; the north H6828 NFS side H6285 four H702 thousand H505 MMP and five H2568 BFS hundred H3967 BFP , and the south H5045 side H6285 four H702 thousand H505 MMP and five H2568 BFS hundred H3967 BFP , and on the east H6921 NMP side H6285 four H702 thousand H505 MMP and five H2568 hundred H3967 BFP , and the west H3220 side H6285 four H702 thousand H505 and five H2568 BFS hundred H3967 BFP .
17 And the suburbs H4054 of the city H5892 L-NMS shall be H1961 W-VQQ3MS toward the north H6828 two hundred H3967 W-MFD and fifty H2572 MMP , and toward the south H5045 two hundred H3967 and fifty H2572 MMP , and toward the east H6921 two hundred H3967 W-MFD and fifty H2572 MMP , and toward the west H3220 two hundred H3967 and fifty H2572 MMP .
18 And the residue H3498 in length H753 over against H5980 the oblation H8641 of the holy H6944 portion shall be ten H6235 thousand H505 MMP eastward H6921 , and ten H6235 thousand H505 MMP westward H3220 : and it shall be H1961 W-VQQ3MS over against H5980 the oblation H8641 of the holy H6944 portion ; and the increase H8393 thereof shall be H1961 W-VQQ3MS for food H3899 unto them that serve H5647 the city H5892 D-GFS .
19 And they that serve H5647 the city H5892 D-GFS shall serve H5647 it out of all H3605 M-CMS the tribes H7626 of Israel H3478 LMS .
20 All H3605 NMS the oblation H8641 shall be five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS by five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 MMS : ye shall offer H7311 the holy H6944 oblation H8641 foursquare H7243 , with H413 PREP the possession H272 of the city H5892 D-GFS .
21 And the residue H3498 shall be for the prince H5387 , on the one side H2088 M-DPRO and on the other H2088 of the holy H6944 oblation H8641 , and of the possession H272 of the city H5892 D-GFS , over against H413 PREP the five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS of the oblation H8641 toward H5704 PREP the east H6921 border H1366 CMS , and westward H3220 over against H5921 PREP the five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS toward H5921 PREP the west H3220 border H1366 CMS , over against H5980 the portions H2506 for the prince H5387 : and it shall be H1961 W-VQQ3FS the holy H6944 oblation H8641 ; and the sanctuary H4720 of the house H1004 D-NMS shall be in the midst H8432 thereof .
22 Moreover from the possession H272 of the Levites H3881 , and from the possession H272 of the city H5892 D-GFS , being in the midst H8432 B-NMS of that which H834 RPRO is H1961 VQY3MS the prince H5387 \'s , between H996 PREP the border H1366 CMS of Judah H3063 and the border H1366 CMS of Benjamin H1144 , shall be H1961 for the prince H5387 .
23 As for the rest H3499 of the tribes H7626 , from the east H6921 side H6285 unto H5704 PREP the west H3220 side H6285 , Benjamin H1144 shall have a H259 ONUM portion .
24 And by H5921 W-PREP the border H1366 CMS of Benjamin H1144 , from the east H6921 side H6285 unto H5704 PREP the west H3220 side H6285 , Simeon H8095 shall have a H259 ONUM portion .
25 And by H5921 W-PREP the border H1366 CMS of Simeon H8095 , from the east H6921 side H6285 unto H5704 PREP the west H3220 side H6285 , Issachar H3485 a H259 ONUM portion .
26 And by H5921 W-PREP the border H1366 CMS of Issachar H3485 , from the east H6921 side H6285 unto H5704 PREP the west H3220 side H6285 , Zebulun H2074 a H259 ONUM portion .
27 And by H5921 W-PREP the border H1366 CMS of Zebulun H2074 , from the east H6921 side H6285 unto H5704 PREP the west H3220 side H6285 , Gad H1410 a H259 ONUM portion .
28 And by H5921 PREP the border H1366 CMS of Gad H1410 , at H413 PREP the south H5045 side H6285 southward H8486 , the border H1366 shall be H1961 W-VQQ3MS even from Tamar H8559 unto the waters H4325 of strife H4808 in Kadesh H6946 LFS , and to the river H5158 toward H5921 PREP the great H1419 D-AMS sea H3220 D-NMS .
29 This H2063 DPRO is the land H776 D-GFS which H834 RPRO ye shall divide by lot H5307 VHY2MP unto the tribes H7626 of Israel H3478 for inheritance H5159 , and these H428 W-PMP are their portions H4256 , saith H5002 the Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 .
30 And these H428 W-PMP are the goings out H8444 of the city H5892 D-GFS on the north H6828 NFS side H6285 , four H702 thousand H505 MMP and five H2568 BFS hundred H3967 BFP measures H4060 .
31 And the gates H8179 W-CMP of the city H5892 D-GFS shall be after H5921 PREP the names H8034 of the tribes H7626 of Israel H3478 : three H7969 gates H8179 NMP northward H6828 ; one H259 MMS gate H8179 NMS of Reuben H7205 , one H259 MMS gate H8179 NMS of Judah H3063 , one H259 ONUM gate H8179 NMS of Levi H3878 .
32 And at H413 W-PREP the east H6921 side H6285 four H702 thousand H505 MMP and five H2568 BFS hundred H3967 BFP : and three H7969 NFS gates H8179 ; and one H259 MMS gate H8179 of Joseph H3130 , one H259 MMS gate H8179 NMS of Benjamin H1144 , one H259 ONUM gate H8179 NMS of Dan H1835 .
