Leviticus 2:1 (ERVEN) Easy to Read - English

1 "When you give a grain offering to the Lord, your offering must be made from fine flour. You must pour oil on this flour and put frankincense on it.
2 Then you must bring it to Aaron's sons, the priests. The priest will take a handful of the fine flour with oil and frankincense in it. Then he will bring this as a memorial offering to the altar to be burned up as a sweetsmelling gift to the Lord.
3 The rest of that grain offering will belong to Aaron and his sons. This gift to the Lord is very holy.
4 "If you give a grain offering that was baked in the oven, it must be unleavened bread made from fine flour mixed with oil, or it must be wafers with oil poured over them.
5 If you bring a grain offering cooked in a baking pan, it must be made from fine flour without yeast and mixed with oil.
6 You must break it into pieces and pour oil over it. It is a grain offering.
7 If you bring a grain offering cooked in a frying pan, it must be made from fine flour mixed with oil.
8 "When you bring grain offerings made from these things to the Lord, you must give them to the priest, and he will take them to the altar.
9 Then the priest will take part of the grain offering and lift it up as a memorial offering. He will bring it to the altar to be burned up as a sweetsmelling gift to the Lord.
10 The rest of that grain offering will belong to Aaron and his sons. This gift to the Lord is very holy.
11 "You must not give any grain offering to the Lord that has yeast in it. You must not burn yeast or honey as a gift to the Lord.
12 You may bring yeast and honey to the Lord as an offering from the first harvest, but they must not be put on the altar to be burned as a sweet smell.
13 Also, you must put salt on every grain offering you bring. You must not let the salt of God's agreement be missing from your grain offering. You must bring salt with all your offerings.
14 "If you bring a grain offering from the first harvest to the Lord, you must bring roasted heads of grain. They must be crushed heads of fresh grain. This will be your grain offering from the first harvest.
15 You must put oil and frankincense on it. It is a grain offering.
16 The priest must burn part of the crushed grain, the oil, and all the frankincense on it as a memorial offering. It is a gift to the Lord.
1 And when H3588 CONJ any H5315 W-GFS will offer H7126 a meat H4503 NFS offering H7133 unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS , his offering H7133 shall be H1961 VQY3MS of fine flour H5560 ; and he shall pour H3332 oil H8081 NMS upon H5921 PREP-3FS it , and put H5414 W-VQQ3MS frankincense H3828 thereon H5921 PREP-3FS :
2 And he shall bring H935 it to H413 PREP Aaron H175 \'s sons H1121 the priests H3548 : and he shall take H7061 therefrom H8033 M-ADV his handful H4393 of the flour H5560 thereof , and of the oil H8081 thereof , with H5921 PREP all H3605 NMS the frankincense H3828 thereof ; and the priest H3548 shall burn H6999 the memorial H234 of it upon the altar H4196 , to be an offering made by fire H801 , of a sweet H5207 savor H7381 CMS unto the LORD H3068 :
3 And the remnant H3498 of H4480 PREP the meat offering H4503 shall be Aaron H175 \'s and his sons H1121 \' : it is a thing most holy H6944 of the offerings of the LORD made by fire H801 .
4 And if H3588 W-CONJ thou bring H7126 an oblation H7133 of a meat offering H4503 NFS baked H3989 in the oven H8574 , it shall be unleavened H4682 cakes H2471 of fine flour H5560 mingled H1101 with oil H8081 , or unleavened H4682 wafers H7550 anointed H4886 with oil H8081 .
5 And if H518 W-PART thy oblation H7133 be a meat offering H4503 NFS baked in H5921 PREP a pan H4227 , it shall be H1961 of fine flour H5560 unleavened H4682 , mingled H1101 with oil H8081 .
6 Thou shalt part H6626 it in pieces H6595 , and pour H3332 oil H8081 thereon H5921 PREP-3FS : it H1931 PPRO-3FS is a meat offering H4503 NFS .
7 And if H518 W-PART thy oblation H7133 be a meat offering H4503 baked in the frying pan H4802 , it shall be made H6213 of fine flour H5560 with oil H8081 .
8 And thou shalt bring H935 the meat offering H4503 that H834 RPRO is made H6213 of these things H428 M-PMP unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS : and when it is presented H7126 unto H413 PREP the priest H3548 , he shall bring H5066 it unto H413 PREP the altar H4196 .
9 And the priest H3548 shall take H7311 from H4480 PREP the meat offering H4503 a memorial H234 thereof , and shall burn H6999 it upon the altar H4196 : it is an offering made by fire H801 , of a sweet H5207 savor H7381 CMS unto the LORD H3068 .
10 And that which is left H3498 of H4480 PREP the meat offering H4503 shall be Aaron H175 \'s H1121 and his H1121 sons\' H1121 : it is a thing most holy H6944 of the offerings of the LORD made by fire H801 .
11 No H3808 NADV meat offering H4503 , which H834 RPRO ye shall bring H7126 unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS , shall be made H6213 with leaven H2557 : for H3588 CONJ ye shall burn H6999 no H3808 ADV leaven H7603 , nor any H3605 NMS honey H1706 NMS , in any offering of the LORD made by fire H801 .
12 As for the oblation H7133 of the firstfruits H7225 CFS , ye shall offer H7126 them unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS : but they shall not H3808 NADV be burnt H5927 on H413 W-PREP the altar H4196 D-NMS for a sweet H5207 savor H7381 .
13 And every H3605 NMS oblation H7133 of thy meat offering H4503 shalt thou season H4414 with salt H4417 ; neither H3808 W-NPAR shalt thou suffer the salt H4417 NMS of the covenant H1285 NFS of thy God H430 CMP-2MS to be lacking H7673 from M-PREP thy meat offering H4503 : with H5921 M-PREP all H3605 NMS thine offerings H7133 thou shalt offer H7126 salt H4417 .
14 And if H518 W-PART thou offer H7126 a meat offering H4503 of thy firstfruits H1061 unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS , thou shalt offer H7126 for the meat offering H4503 of thy firstfruits H1061 green ears of corn H24 dried H7033 by the fire H784 , even corn beaten H1643 out of full ears H3759 .
15 And thou shalt put H5414 oil H8081 NMS upon H5921 PREP-3FS it , and lay H7760 frankincense H3828 thereon H5921 PREP-3FS : it H1931 PPRO-3FS is a meat offering H4503 NFS .
16 And the priest H3548 shall burn H6999 the memorial H234 of it , part of the beaten corn H1643 thereof , and part of the oil H8081 thereof , with H5921 PREP all H3605 NMS the frankincense H3828 thereof : it is an offering made by fire H801 unto the LORD H3068 .
