TOV   ராஜாவை நோக்கி: ராஜா என்றைக்கும் வாழ்க; என் பிதாக்களின் கல்லறைகள் இருக்கும் ஸ்தலமாகிய நகரம் பாழானதும், அதின் வாசல்கள் அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரிக்கப்பட்டதுமாய்க் கிடக்கும்போது, நான் துக்கமுகத்தோடு இராதிருப்பது எப்படி என்றேன்.
IRVTA   ராஜாவை நோக்கி: ராஜா என்றைக்கும் வாழ்க; என்னுடைய தகப்பன்மார்களின் கல்லறைகள் இருக்கும் இடமாகிய நகரம் எருசலேம் பாழானதும், அதின் வாசல்கள் அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரிக்கப்பட்டும் கிடக்கும்போது, நான் துக்கமுகத்தோடு இல்லாமல் இருப்பது எப்படி என்றேன்.
ERVTA   பயந்தாலும் கூட நான் அரசனிடம், "அரசன் என்றென்றும் வாழ்வாராக! நான் துக்கமாய் இருக்கிறேன். ஏனென்றால் எனது முற்பிதாக்களின் கல்லறைகள் உள்ள நகரம் பாழாயிற்று. அதன் வாசல்கள் நெருப்பால் எரிக்கப்பட்டன" என்றேன்.
RCTA   எனவே அரசரை நோக்கி, "அரசே, நீர் நீடூழி வாழ்க! என் முன்னோரின் கல்லறைகள் இருக்கும் நகர் பாழ்பட்டுக் கிடப்பதையும், அதன் வாயில்கள் தீக்கிரையாகி இருப்பதையும் கண்டு நான் எவ்வாறு கவலையின்றி இருக்க முடியும்?" என்று சொன்னேன்.
ECTA   நான் மன்னரை நோக்கி, "மன்னரே! நீர் நீடூழி வாழ்க! என் மூதாதையரின் கல்லறைகள் இருக்கும் நகர் பாழ்பட்டுக் கிடக்கும்போது, அதன் வாயில்கள் தீக்கிரையாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் போது, என் முகம் எப்படி வாடாமல் இருக்கும்?" என்றேன்.

IRVML   അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ഏറ്റവും ഭയപ്പെട്ട് രാജാവിനോട്: “രാജാവ് ദീർഘായുസ്സായിരിക്കട്ടെ; എന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ കല്ലറകൾ ഉള്ള പട്ടണം ശൂന്യമായും അതിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾ തീകൊണ്ട് വെന്തും കിടക്കുമ്പോൾ എന്റെ മുഖം വാടാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നത് എങ്ങനെ” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.
TEV   నేను మిగుల భయపడిరాజు చిరంజీవి యగునుగాక, నా పితరుల సమాధులుండు పట్టణము పాడైపోయి, దాని గుమ్మములును అగ్నిచేత కాల్చబడి యుండగా నాకు దుఃఖముఖము లేకపోవునా అని రాజుతో అంటిని.
ERVTE   అయితేనేమి, నేను భయపడినా కూడా, రాజుతో, “రాజు చిరంజీవిగా వర్ధిల్లాలి! నా పూర్వీకులు సమాధి చేయబడిన నగరం శిథిలమైంది. నగర ప్రాకార ద్వారాలు దగ్ధం చేయబడ్డాయి” అని విన్నవించాను.
IRVTE   అప్పుడు నేను “రాజు చిరకాలం జీవించాలి. నా పూర్వీకుల సమాధులున్న పట్టణం శిథిలమైపోయింది. దాని కోట తలుపులు తగలబడి పోయాయి. మరి నా ముఖం విచారంగా కాక ఇంకెలా ఉంటుంది?” అని రాజుతో అన్నాను.
KNV   ಆಗ ನಾನು ಬಹು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ಅರಸನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಬಾಳಲಿ. ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಗಳಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳವಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಹಾಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅದರ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವು ದುಃಖವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವದು ಹೇಗೆ ಅಂದೆನು.
ERVKN   ನಾನು ಭಯದಿಂದಲೇ, “ಅರಸನೇ ಚಿರಂಜೀವಿಯಾಗಿರು. ನನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳಿರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಹಾಳು ದಿಬ್ಬವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ದುಃಖಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಅದರ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿವೆ” ಅಂದೆನು.
IRVKN   ನಾನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ, “ಅರಸನು ಚಿರಂಜೀವಿಯಾಗಿರಲಿ! ನನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳಿರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಹಾಳಾಗಿ, ಅದರ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿವೆ; ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವು ಕಳೆಗುಂದದೆ ಇರುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
HOV   तब मैं अत्यन्त डर गया। और राजा से कहा, राजा सदा जीवित रहे! जब वह नगर जिस में मेरे पुरखाओं की कबरें हैं, उजाड़ पड़ा है और उसके फाटक जले हुए हैं, तो मेरा मुंह क्यों उतरे?
ERVHI   किन्तु यद्यपि मैं डर गया था किन्तु फिर भी मैंने राजा से कहा, “राजा जीवित रहें! मैं इसलिए उदास हूँ कि वह नगर जिसमें मेरे पूर्वज दफनाये गये थे उजाड़पड़ा है तथा उस नगर के प्रवेश् द्वार आग सेे भस्म हो गये हैं।”

GUV   છતાં મેં રાજાને જવાબ આપ્યો, “રાજા, ચિરંજીવ રહો; હું કેમ ઉદાસ ના હોઉં? કારણકે જે નગરમાં મારા પિતૃઓને દફનાવવામાં આવ્યાં છે તે ખંડેર થઇ ગયું છે, અને નગરના દરવાજા અગ્નિથી બળીને ભસ્મ થઇ ગયાઁ છે.”
